CYBERFEMINISM

Cyberfeminism

I am interested in the new approach to feminism, cyberfeminism, that emerged within the postmodern theories (within postmodernist issues of multiple viewpoints, fragmentations, fluid identities and issues of embodiment and disembodiment) its origins, its diversity as there has not been a single approach to this issue;, body and identity, roles of women in new technologies, specifically, perceptions of women on internet and in the role playing online games, and women and new media arts and design.

The research grew out of a series of lectures given to the graduate students at the Department of Gender Studies at the University of Novi Sad, Serbia, which has become an ongoing engagement as their students increasingly recognize the the importance of information about role of women in this new information age.
